Born and raised in Andalusia, in the warm south of Spain, I came already on a young age into contact with art. After a year of studying art in Madrid I moved to the Netherlands where I have passed the Wackers-academie. By this background I try to bring together the best of two worlds. The previous years I have therefore exposed many times already both in Spain and the Netherlands.

Inspired by the landscape of my youth and the love for nature I draw and paint olive-trees. A fascination that gets an extra dimension for me by the contrast between the suggestive movement and the permanent silent presence of these trees, sometimes for more than one thousand years.

Another frequently returning topic in my work is the human body. Here also movement, recurrence and dancing are important elements. The bodies seem, as they were dancing through life.

In my manner of working I combine modern techniques with the traditional way of drawing in ink. Through the use of lines and points I try to create a subtle harmony. This gives every drawing its unique character.
